This is a no reserve penny auction for a Browning BLR lever-action rifle in .243 Win. Serial number-01386RR127. This rifle is in great condition with an excellent bore, and was manufactured in 1977. It includes Weaver style scope bases and a soft case. BLR rifles utilize a geared lever and bolt design that accommodates modern high-pressure rounds. The trigger moves with the lever when it is cycled, preventing the trigger finger from being pinched when the lever is closed. A detachable box magazine allows the use of pointed-tipped bullets, greatly increasing range, compared to traditional lever-actions with tubular magazines.
