This is a no reserve penny auction for a Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori M38 bolt-action rifle in 6.5x55mm. Serial number- 392277. This rifle is in great condition for its age and was manufactured in 1916. It has the proper Swedish Crown proofs throughout and includes a cleaning rod. Imported by CAI ST ALB VT (stamped on barrel), "Swedish Mausers" are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden.
