This is a no reserve penny auction for a Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori M96 bolt-action rifle in 6.5x55mm. Serial number- 411884. Manufactured in 1917. This rifle is in good condition with a great-looking bore and features all matching parts and serial numbers. "Swedish Mausers" are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden. There is a CAI import stamp on the barrel. Please be sure to see all photos to see the exact condition. Note there is rust on the metal parts of the rifle but most of it is located on the butt plate.
