This is an Enfield No.1 MK3 bolt action rifle in .303 British. Serial number- Y5804. This rifle is in great condition considering it is over 100 years old and would have served during WWI (particularly the bore!). This rifle looks to have been manufactured in 1915. The Enfield SMLE was the standard issue rifle in the British army during World War II. It held 10-rounds in its fixed magazine which was double the German Mauser. The Enfield was such a success that it saw continued use past WWII and was carried/used by soldiers across the vast British Empire.
