This is a no reserve penny auction for an Inland M1 Carbine Paratrooper rifle in .30 Cal Carbine. Serial number- 398693. This rifle is in excellent condition with an amazing bore and comes with a correct "C clamp" sling, a Quality Manufacturing 15-round magazine, and an Inland "hardback" M2 Marked 30-round magazine. All "paratrooper" M1 Carbines were manufactured by Inland during WWII and this is one of them. Other M1 Carbines were fitted with the folding wire stock after WWII for Korea. Although the stock wasn't very popular with GIs during the Second World War, the cool factor is undeniable. GIs often stripped the stock for a traditional one or opted for a carbine the full wood stock. This has caused them to be exceptionally rare and desirable in their original WWII configuration. It show Inland markings on the barrel and receiver and the markings on the inside of the butt plate are correct! These are scarcely on the market to get one while you can!
