This is a no reserve penny auction for an Iron Brigade Armory Remington 700 Chandler Sniper bolt-action rifle in .300 Win Mag. Serial number- E6541894. This rifle is in excellent condition and comes with a hard case, a leather Chandler Sniper sling, and a 3.5-10x40mm Leupold VARI-X III Long Range riflescope with a Mil-Dot reticle. This custom rifle was manufactured by Iron Brigade Armory in Jacksonville, North Carolina until the death of Roy Chandler in 2015. These rifles were manufactured to exceed U.S. Marine Corps standards set out for their M40A1 sniper rifles. This example is built on a Remington 700 action with a crisp 3.75 lb trigger pull, a heavy barrel with no sights, a scope base marked with matching serial number and "CHANDLER SNIPER No. 212" on the side and "IRON BRIGADE ARMORY/JACKSONVILE, NC" on top. Mounted with a McMillan camouflage pattern pistol grip synthetic stock with texturing on the forearm and grip, and a Decelerator recoil pad.
