This is a no reserve penny auction for an Izhevsk Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine bolt-action rifle in 7.62x54r. Serial number- MOR0003396. This rifle is in great condition for its age and comes with the original box, oil canister, and assorted tools. All serial numbers appear to be matching, and the bore is in excellent condition. The Russian M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine was manufactured by the Izhevsk arsenal in high numbers at the end of WWII. KO-44 is just a Molot rebuild of the M44s. KO-44 is the model name for the Russian civilian market. The M44s were refurbished by Molot as the "civilian" rifle for the Russian market (KO – "Карабин Охотничий", hunting carbine), and then exported to the US. The KO-91/30 is a misprint which has been known to happen by the importer and should read KO-44 which makes this rifle unique!
