This is a no reserve penny auction for a Parker Hale Model 1861 Enfield Musketoon Carbine percussion rifle in .577 Cal. Serial number- 4152. This rifle is in great condition and comes with a period correct sword bayonet. The blade is marked with the logo of J.E. Bleckmann, which consists of a drawn bow and arrow, with the letters B and M within the arms of the bow. The number "16" is stamped on the pommel. The Bleckmann company, operated from 1808 to 1880 in Solingen, and was heavily involved in the blade making industry. Please note, a scabbard for the bayonet is not included and minor fitting may be required to mount the bayonet to the rifle.

These quality Enfields were made by Parker Hale in Birmingham, England. Features Birmingham proofs, two barrel bands, sling swivel, ramrod, high polish blue finish, brass trigger guard and buttplate, and walnut stock with maker cartouche on right side.
