<br />The 03-A3, formally known as the Springfield M1903, is an American five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service repeating rifle, and was an upgraded version of the M1903. It replaced the famous M1903 that was the standard-issue infantry rifle during World War One and played a more specialized role during World War Two when the M1 Garand was adopted by the US military. Today, it remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector&apos;s piece, a competitive shooting rifle, and as a military drill rifle.
