This is a Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 single-shot rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Serial number- 7504B. This rifle is in excellent condition and comes with the a 23" MVA 3x Scope with mildot reticle. Shiloh Rifle Mfg Co of Big Timber Montana proudly makes reproductions of the famous Sharps rifles of the late 1800's. Sharps was a famous rifle brand following the Civil War that played a major role in innovating and popularizing metallic cartridge breech-loading rifles during the mid to late 1800s. The Sharps 1874 was used by Tom Selleck in the movie Quigly Down Under. The movie followed Selleck who used a custom Sharps rifle that showcased the incredible accuracy of this rifle for the time.
