This is a no reserve penny auction for a Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman double-action revolver in .357 Mag. Serial number – N289492. This revolver is in good condition and has a good bore! The Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, traces its heritage back to the Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum. The Registered Magnum morphed into the 357 Magnum (first production model completed April 8, 1935). The Model 27 & 28 have featured in a number of movies including Patton, The Godfather, Fargo, Police Academy, and Bad Boys. Please take note of the pictures as there is holster ware and the wood grips have ware. This 28-2 has good timing and lock up.
