This is a Weatherby Athena over/under shotgun in 12ga. Serial number- D008483. This shotgun features a 3" chamber. Made by SKB in Japan. MOD and IMP CYL threaded chokes installed and include four more chokes along with it (IMC, Mod, and two Skeet), choke wrench, and a small manual. Also comes in a luxurious faux fur-lined carry case! This is a Japan Version I Mfg. 1982–1990. Through its many incarnations, the Weatherby over and under has continued to stand for a quality gun at a reasonable price. SKB reached an agreement with Roy Weatherby to begin producing a line of shotguns that included semi-automatic, and over & under models. The Orion and Athena line of Over & Under shotguns were extremely popular and were distributed by Weatherby through their network of worldwide importers.
